Get artsy at festival in the Flats

If you haven’t been to the East Bank of the Flats in Cleveland lately, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. The rickety old bars have been replaced with sleek new apartments and restaurants with a waterside view. Check it out at the Flats Festival of the Arts, which runs 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be art booths, performances and lots of food. A wristband good for all three days is $10 online, $12 at the door. www.ffota.org.
