Vigil for Vietnam War veterans

There will be a Vietnam veterans candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. at the Ohio Veterans’ Memorial Park, 8005 Cleveland-Massillon Road, in Clinton. Vietnam-era music and hot coffee will greet visitors with a service beginning at 8 p.m. Visitors can also check out the park’s new additions, including the Family of Heroes Memorial Hall. Battery-powered candles and glow sticks are suggested to help protect the memorials.

Screening of Moore’s latest

Despite its typically provocative title, Michael Moore’s latest film, Where to Invade Next, is more about what lessons the United States can learn from other countries in terms of gender equality, health care, education and vacation time, among other issues. It’s showing at the Nightlight at 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Tickets are $8.50, $7.50 children and seniors. The Nightlight is at 30 N. High St., Akron; 330-252-5782.

2Cellos at Playhouse Square

Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, aka 2Cellos, are YouTube and concert stars thanks to their bow-shredding interpretations of songs by Michael Jackson (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx0xCI1jaUM">check out Smooth Criminal), U2, Nine Inch Nails and many others. They’ll play the State Theatre at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square at 8 p.m. Tickets are $37.50-$57.50 at 216-241-6000, www.playhousesquare.org.

Brit Floyd to play ‘Echoes’

Pink Floyd tribute act Brit Floyd comes to the Akron Civic Theatre at 7:30 p.m., promising Echoes in its entirety, as well as highlights from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and The Division Bell.
