Get a taste of Cabernet Madness at Galaxy Restaurant
Cabernet sauvignon is often called the “king of grapes,” producing some of the world’s most complex (and most expensive) wines. But it can taste very different based on the country of origin, growing conditions, the winemaker’s preferences and many other factors. Taste 20 different cabs from around the world at Cabernet Madness, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth, under the guidance of Galaxy sommelier Matt Forrest. Cost is $35 at www.galaxyrestaurant.com. Call 330-334-3663 for information. The Galaxy is at 201 Park Centre Drive, near the state Route 94/Interstate 76 interchange. (If you’re really going to indulge, consider booking a room at the conveniently nearby Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn.)
