The Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com podcast is back, and this week we actually get to talk about a Cleveland Browns win.
Instead of breaking down the game, Nate Ulrich discusses what the win means for the players, coaches and the franchise as a whole. It can all be summarized in a single word: relief.
It also means scrapping plans for an 0-16 parade, and plenty of other coverage about this Browns team living in infamy as one of the worst in NFL history. For Nate, it also meant scrapping some planned coverage of a winless team.
That included interviewing former Browns cornerback Leigh Bodden, who played on the 2008 Detroit Lions team that went 0-16. We included some snippets from that interview in this week's podcast.
We close the show looking ahead to Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who might start at quarterback for the Browns and which player needs to have a good game in the season finale.
Oh, and since we took last week off, we intensely debate our favorite Christmas movie. For once, you can assume Dan is right and Nate is wrong.
