The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking aid from the public to find relatives of two people who died recently.

The first is George Benton, a 64-year-old man who died on Sept. 21. The medical examiner determined Benton died of natural causes at his home on Lacroix Avenue in Akron. His friends say Benton might have relatives in the Cleveland area.

The second is John Segedy, an 80-year-old man who died of natural causes on Oct. 8. Segedy, a Navy veteran, was found at his home on Betz Drive in Springfield Township. Neighbors says he lived alone and had no known relatives.

Anyone with information on family members for these two men is asked to contact the medical examiner’s office at 330-643-2101.
