AKRON: A pair of 20-somethings have been arrested, charged with robbing a man that police say they lured to an inn with the promise of a massage.
Kathleen Gartner, 25, and Mario Ammons, 27, are charged with aggravated robbery.
The 27-year-old victim said he met Gartner on www.backpage.com, where she agreed to give him a massage at the Courtesy Inn, 210 W. Market St.
The man entered a room at the inn on Feb. 8 and was followed in by Ammons, police said. Ammons was armed with a knife and took $75 from the man before assaulting him. Ammons then fled.
The victim went to the lobby and called police.
Ammons was arrested Wednesday. Gartner was arrested Saturday. Both are being held at the Summit County Jail.
