RNC Wednesday: Schedule and prime-time speakers

The theme for the day is: Make America First Again.

The Ohio delegation will have breakfast with U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, along with Rep. Pat Tiberi from central Ohio.

In the morning, the Republican National Convention holds two policy conversations, one about education innovation and parent choice/school privatization, and the other about the drug crisis and possible solutions from private industry.

In the afternoon, a panel will discuss the discovery and development of prescription drugs.

Among protests and opposition groups, the controversial anti-gay organization Westboro Baptist Church will be in Perk Plaza all day.

Olympic medalist Caitlyn Jenner will appear at a Big Tent event of conservatives in support of gay rights.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, unsuccessful presidential candidate.

Lynne Patton, vice president of The Eric Trump Foundation.

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, unsuccessful presidential candidate.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, unsuccessful candidate for president.

Eric Trump, youngest of Trump’s three children from his first marriage, is executive vice president of The Trump Organization.

Newt and Callista Gingrich, former speaker of the house and his wife. Unsuccessful presidential candidate in 2012.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, presumptive candidate for vice president.
