If miles of security barriers, police officers on just about every corner, scarce parking and dozens of street closures don’t rattle your nerves — two of Cleveland’s landmark lakefront museums have a great deal just right for you.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is free to visitors through Thursday, thanks to a donation from AT&T.

During the Republican National Convention, the lakefront museum will have reduced hours, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday.

AT&T is the sponsor of a new exhibit, Louder Than Words: Rock, Power and Politics, that traces the genre’s impact on the political scene.

The neighboring Great Lakes Science Center will be free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, thanks to Microsoft.

The science center will be closed, though, on Wednesday for a private event.

The science center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday to Saturday.

Credentialed RNC delegates and workers will be admitted free to the science center and the Steamship William G. Mather through Saturday.
