Cool down in a Cuygahoga Falls wading pool

Take the little ones for a cool dip at one of Cuyahoga Falls’ wading pools, which are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The supervised pools are for ages 9 and younger. Swim diapers are required for diaper-age children. Pools are at Lions Park, Linden Park, Indian Mountain Park, Quirk Cultural Center, Valley Vista and Oak Park. 330-971-8225.

Enjoy yoga with some wine in Sharon Township

Try two different methods of relaxation in one as the High & Low Winery offers Yoga and Wine at 5:45 p.m. You get “a class and a glass” for $15. It runs every Monday, but if you’re more of a morning person, you can try Yoga and Mimosa at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays for the same price. High & Low is at 588 Medina Road (state Route 18) in Sharon Township. Check the winery’s Facebook page for more information.

Attend a history lesson about the Beatles

Speaker Bill Brauning will talk about the early years of the Fab Four in a presentation called “The Other Side of the Beatles” at 7 p.m. at the Peninsula Library, 6105 Riverview Road. Reservations are requested; call 330-657-2291.

Head to Brandywine Falls for a morning hike
