After flirting with the NBA Draft, Ohio State center Trevor Thompson has decided to return for his junior season with the Buckeyes.
The story was first reported by Jeff Goodman of ESPN, and later acknowledged by Thompson in a series of tweets.

Thompson wasn't invited to the NBA Scouting Combine. Because he didn't hire an agent, he is permitted to return to college.
Earlier this month Ohio State associated coach Dave Dickerson told the media he expected Thompson back for the 2016-17 season.
Last season Thompson averaged 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He started 28 of 35 games played and also had three double-doubles. He split time with Daniel Giddens, who has since transferred from OSU.
Last season was Thompson's first with the Buckeyes after transferring from Virginia Tech.
