Cleveland Browns rookie minicamp took place over the weekend, and with 14 players taken in the 2016 NFL Draft, there was plenty to see.
Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com Browns beat writer Nate Ulrich was in attendance, and on this week's podcast he gives his first impressions of the team's rookies. One of the headline players from the weekend was first-round pick Corey Coleman. The wide receiver got a lot of attention, and not just because he was the team's first pick in the draft.
Quarterback Cody Kessler, one of the team's third-round picks last month, also got a lot of attention. With unseasonably cool temperatures in Northeast Ohio over the weekeend, the Browns coaches got a sense of what Kesssler can do at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Also on this week's show we talk about some of the notable undrafted free agents the Browns brought in. A few players could challenge roster spots with center Mike Matthews being one of them.
We close this week's show by looking ahead to the organized team activity workouts the team is conducting this week. Starting on Tuesday, the OTAs will give our first indication of how the class of rookies will blend in with the rest of the roster and where some position battles could take place in training camp.
